I gave it 2 stars only because I was finally able to finish reading it. The kaleidoscope portrait of the lives of a ruffto in a single day, together with the verbal pyrotechnics, goes back to Joyce’s Ulysses. Experimental novel based on the daily lives of citizens of Sap Paulo Brazil. The variety of literary techniques is reason enough to read cavaloz piece. Reviewed in exchange for a preview ebook. The book has been much praised, so perhaps the fault is mine, but essentially I found it unreadable. Oct 13, Joshua Thomas rated it liked it. The good thing was that I could come home from work after a muito day and read without worrying about the storyline because there was none. Very worth the experience.

Ana Luiza rated it it was ok Sep 04, So, is there a story here? Honestly, I just don’t understand the value of writing in run-on sentences, without punctuation or capitalization, and without any real indication of where the voices change.
Then again, there usually isn’t that much drama in happiness. This just wasn’t my ruffaot of book, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad.
